Dunloy CC rider Finbarr Dooey produced a superb ride today to take 3rd place in the M50 Masters section of today’s Mid-Ulster GP in Cookstown. Finbarr like so many in our club spent the winter training hard and fully deserves success. Well done Finbarr, top racing!

All club members are welcome to join in with their kids, the group leaves the Hub at 9am and heads out the Bridge Road. Please ensure everyone is dressed for a cooler day this Saturday although it should be dry.
There will be a race committee meeting next Friday 29th in the Parish Centre @ 7:30pm.

We will be discussing the club points system, the Open race preparation, a marshalling rota amongst other things.

DCC riders Seamus Og Kelly and Adrian McGregor missed out on the places in today’s Bann Valley Classic Road Race held on the Clady Circuit, both however finished safely in the bunch after racing hard in a talented field. Fellow DCC riders Jonathan Dooey and Ciaran McConville also put in sparkling performances before mechanicals forced a premature end to their races. Well done lads, top racing!
Our clubman Chris McKeown continues to impress in the 4 day International Tour of the North alongside his team mates Ryan Bankhead and Steven McAllister in the BCC Beisty’s Centra Racing Team. Chris had a great ride in today’s TT coming in only 1m 28secs behind stage winner Ed Clemens from the Spirit Bikes Racing Team. Chris lies in 64th place in the GC after a great performance in the 4th stage route from Portaferry to Donaghadee and has undoubtedly impressed many with his selfless and hard riding. Well done Chris, we are all proud of you. Best wishes to you all for a great days riding tomorrow and a safe return!
