DCC Spin Classes to start from Monday 12th October.

We are pleased to announce that all of our new Spin bikes and free-standing weights are ready for use.

Any members who would like to call in and see the “The Hub” Fitness room this weekend, please contact Paul O’Kane or Seamus Og Kelly. They will let you in anytime from early morning until 9pm.

Membership for “The Hub” Fitness room is £50 per annum (there will be additional charges for classes taken by instructors).

This membership entitles you to unlimited access except when classes are booked. Members will also be able to avail of training DVDs, which can be used for individual or group training sessions.

Some members have arranged for Niall O’Hagan to take classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights. There will be a charge of £2 per head per night to cover his expenses. This must be paid upfront on a monthly basis.

There are a few extra spaces available so please contact Margaret McCamphill if you are interested in attending.

On Wednesday and Friday nights Mel McIlfatrick and Vincent Drain will be using their turbo trainers to do a workout among themselves but would welcome anyone who wants to join them on the spin bikes to let them know.

Please note:

All members must bring their own towel and water bottle.

We have created a timetable for the classes that we have so far.

DCC Spin Classes will be starting soon in “The Hub”.

Our new Spin bikes should be with us this weekend and once we have them set up we will have an open night to let everyone have a look and discuss the various classes which we will be running.

We have decided to have an annual membership for “The Hub” of £50.

Membership should be put in an envelope with your name and preferred times that you would like to attend classes.

Payment can be made to either of the following club members, Paul O’Kane, Dominic Doherty or Finbarr Dooey.

This will allow them access to the Spin classes or they can use it during the day and weekends as long as they book in advance.

During our meeting on monday night some members said they would prefer an instructor to run the classes.

In order to do this we would like every member who joins to let us know what type of training they would like to do so we can sort this out when we are arranging classes.

During the month of October “The Hub” will only be open to members so we can get things up and running smoothly.

After this we will be open to other clubs or individuals.
