Well done to all our members of the winning Interclub TT league.
This was a league consisting of Glens CC and Ballycastle CC and included race and TT events.
All members are included in the presentation which took place at the Glens Festival TT.
Special mention to Chris Mc Keown on winning the individual prize for the most points.
Another great success for our club as we continue to grow from strength to strength.
Big thanks to our competitors Glens CC and Ballycastle CC who made this a successful event with well run events and a very warm welcome every night.
Thanks to organisers, marshals, Gordon Parker and Alicja for timekeeping and excellent photos.
On saturday 15th August we had our annual Fun Day.
A great day for the young and the old of our club.
Some great photos and we can see from these who was cheating in the relay race.
The committee will have to look at these carefully before handing out punishment lol.
Thanks to organisers, marshals and the cooks on the barbecue for another great day.
“Some of our members are interested in ordering sportful’s new rain jacket. This Jacket is wind and waterproof and will be available soon. The design of the jacket will probably be a flourescent green with the DCC logo on it similar to image but not exact same design. It is a much better fitting jacket than the current winter jacket but just as warm. It is breathable too, so can be used in those early season races. If anyone has any queries on sizing or quality see Neil Higgins or Aidie McCamphill who have the non custom version”.
If you go to roca sport fb page they have a post about it.
The image above is for illustration purpose only and may not be the final design.
Price of jacket to be confirmed.
We need a minimum order of 10 so if anyone is interested please let Martin or Finbarr know asap.
The premises is the “old butchers shop” on Tullaghans Road and Seamus Kelly Mace has agreed to let it out to us.
There needs to be some work done to get the premises into shape and Seamus has been very helpful but we are asking all club members who could help us out in anyway to attend a meeting at the above address on friday night 31st July at 7pm.
This weeks club run is 61 miles and takes us on an easier route from last last week.
There will be the usual coffee/tea break along the way and the groups will be decided on sunday morning.
Remember to click on mile markers when you load the map below so that you can see what direction we are heading.
Could we ask all ticket sellers to have their money and stubs returned by 4pm Sunday 12th July as draw takes place tomorrow evening.
Any unsold tickets must also be returned.
Money and tickets can be handed into Pappys Bakery for Soapy to collect.
We would like to thank all ticket sellers and the generous people who bought them.
Good luck to everyone.
